Requirements
Position Title: Pharmacist
Location: DEZ City and surrounding countryside-Tibni
Reporting to: Medical Officer
Direct reports: N\A
Job Profile:
Position Summary. Pharmacist will be responsible for manage drugs , medical supplies and equipment , by receive , storage and and dispense medications according to prescriptions and to WHO guidelines. He will have to report any issues related to medical commodities and is the primary responsible of the management of the pharmacy. He/she reporting to Medical officer and technically to pharmacist officer
Person Specification:
This position will require a demonstrated ability to achieve results in a demanding and fast paced environment.
Skills, knowledge and expertise required for the role.
Essential criteria
•official certificate from Pharmacy faculty
•Local Language is essential
•Must have at least two years of experience working as a pharmacist with NGO
Desirable criteria
•good knowledge of excel
•Good level in English language (reading, writing and speaking) .
•problem-solving skills and attention to detail
•have good Communication skills
•Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Accountability and Complexity
•Maintain proper storage and security conditions for drugs.
•Monitoring the prescriptions that have been filled.
•Responsible for following up and ensure the Receive and store incoming drugs and supplies, verify quantities by Waybills.
•Preparing stock releases according to needs and monthly consumption.
•Preparing distribution plan according to needs order that he/she received from pharmacist assistants
•Pharmacist will be responsible for coordination with supply chain team about transportation and delivery dates from Ware houses to HFs.
•Monitoring the the registration and consumption that submitted from Pharmacist assistant or dispensers.
•Provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and proper medication storage. Apply hygiene standards in all medical activities.
•Attend in meeting related to pharmaceutical and medical commodities meeting.
•Monitor the consumption register update by daily.
•Monitoring the Temperature and humidity monitoring and update temperature sheet by daily basses.
•Ensuring that no expiry drugs will deliver to patient and be aware about the expiration date and report to his/her line manager about any expiration at HFs.
•Coordinating with team leader in health facility or doctor about the near expiry dates.
•Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
