Requirements

Education:

♦ High university diploma in any relevant field.

Experience and technical competencies:

♦ Experience in working with NGOs

♦ Experience in translation.

♦ Computer skills (Word, Excel, Power point).

♦ Very good communication and active listening skills.

Languages:

♦ Fluent Arabic and English, reading, writing and speaking is compulsory.

We offer

♦ We will offer the successful applicant a Five months’ contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance.

♦ Salary and conditions will be in accordance with the organization Terms and Conditions of Employment.        

Responsibilities

TRANSLATION

♦ Provide support to Operations department in the translation of technical documentation, forms related to activities, training materials.

♦ Translation between expiates and the staff in the field, office.

♦ Translate documents related to the job and asked by the line managers.

TRANSLATION DURING TRAINING

♦ Support the expatriate employees in the translation and interpretation during training session.

TRANSLATION DURING EXTERNAL MEETINGS

♦ Support the expatriate employees in the translation and interpretation during external meetings with local authorities, local organization and local partners.

♦ Support the expatriate employees in the translation and interpretation during field visits.

REPORTING

♦ Prepare and update Action Plan / Reporting on a bi-weekly;

♦ Provide any additional support upon request of Line Manager;
