Requirements
Education
♦ Relevant Bachelor/ university degree or equivalent with 1-2 years of experience in social work, psychology, social sciences, human rights, project management or another related field.
Work Experience:
♦ Experience working in Northeast Syria, particularly in Tal Tamir and willingness to travel in and out of field.
♦ Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members, Strong written and oral communication skills required, including report, writing and editing.
♦ Organizational and time management skills.
♦ It is preferable to have work experience in NGOs
♦ Possibility to work independently ,with minimal supervision and the ability to work under pressure
- Must be able to maintain the highest levels of confidentiality with regard to information and data related to work.
Languages:
♦ Professional fluency in spoken and written Arabic and Kurdish are essential.- ♦ English is highly desirable.
Responsibilities
CONTEXTUAL BACKGROUND:
The Project in the first phase is a activities carried out to achieve the objectives of the project and achieve the general goal of To establish the foundation for effective social cohesion and inclusive development programming in NES.
Responsibilities/Duties:
♦ The Community engagement assistant will work closely with the project Officer .
♦ The position holder will closely support and follow the implementation of activities from the implementation phase through to close out, and providing feedback as needed.
♦ The Community engagement assistant will play a critical role in contributing to project outcomes by documenting lessons learned and carrying out a mapping of other social cohesion actors in the project locations.
♦ The incumbent will work closely with the Officer, Social Cohesion Officers, and other relevant departments to ensure smooth, efficient, and effective implementation of the program.
