A medical organization is looking for a Positions of Data Enumerators
to work in
♦ Kobane ( Serrine (1) – Khanik (1) – Qanaya (1) – Jalabia (1) – Tel Khazal (1) – Mishtanour
(1))
♦ Amuda (Tel Brak (1) – Tel Hamis (2) – Kalasa (2) – AL Gharra (1)
♦ Raqqa ( Khatunia (1) – Seif Al Dawla (1))


The basic condition for these positions is that he/she should be belong to the same village /
nearby area of job above locations.

ACADEMIC QUALIFICATION:

♦ Academic background: University Degree graduate.
♦ Other qualifications: knowledge of surveys, assessments, and local context.
♦ Language requirements: Arabic and/or Kurdish is mandatory. English writing will be additional
value.
♦ Computer requirements: knowledge of using Android phone (tablets), online data entry tools.


REQUIREMENTS:

♦ At least 2 years field experience in humanitarian projects. At least 1 year experience in positions
with similar responsibility in the concerned community of Northeast Syria.
♦ Experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
♦ Previous experience with health programming.
♦ Demonstrable data collection, probing skills of both qualitative and quantitative studies.
♦ Ability to work in volatile environments and strict compliance with security protocols
♦ Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collect data in a user-friendly form.

Responsibilities

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

This incumbent will collect data in the assigned health facilities and report to MEAL supervisor and
data management officer (line manager) for overall management and technical tasks in close
consultation with the Program coordinators, technical coordinators, and field managers.
His/her tasks will be:

♦ Attend one-day orientation session conducted in the respective base offices and Pre-test the
data collection tools to check and ensure the contextualized and logical questionnaires.
♦Prepare and submit daily plans and progress to MEAL supervisor and data management
officers. Further, share field learning on regular basis related to security, admin, programmatic
etc.
♦ Conduct interviews with the patients inside assigned Health facilities as per plan and guidelines
given in the orientation session.
♦ Ensure to enter all data inside KOBO tool.
♦ Attend the debrief session and support MEAL supervisor and data officers in data cleaning and
validation.
♦ Strictly follow the survey protocols, security protocols and ethical considerations during field
work.
♦ Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and proper storage / backup of data.
♦ Responsible to take care of any assets provide by organisation.
