Requirements
♦ The position requires a secondary education.
♦ Diploma and Bachelor’s degree (will be an added advantage) along with experience in community work and/or experience in
project implementation;
♦ Previous experience in using qualitative data collection methods will be an asset.
♦ Ability to interact effectively with international and national personnel, as well as with project partners and community members. Fluency in Arabic and good English will be an advantage.
♦ Good Microsoft Office
skills are needed.
♦ Good media tools as well as mobile data collection will be an added value.
Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Program Officer / MEL Officer, Enumerators for
Data Collection will be responsible for the process and impact monitoring of project activities at project
sites. These activities include:
♦ collect data from project and non-project participants such as demographic information (number of people in each family, their ages etc.) and some other project information that is
asked to be filled in the forms provided.
♦ The enumerator will make household visits and distributes forms amongst these houses.
♦ The person assists the family members in filling the forms and sometimes the person fills the forms through direct interviews with the households or telephonic interviews.
♦ The incumbent also analyzes the authenticity of the information given by the family members by contacting
each member of the family, face to face to review the information.
♦ In addition, the enumerator will participate in beneficiary verification, distribution monitoring observation, beneficiary satisfaction survey, post distribution monitoring, data collection for needs assessments/baselines/evaluations, data collection
spot monitoring, conducting focus group discussions, key informant interviews and using other qualitative
data collection tools, document success stories, research, assessment, submitting routine reports.
