Requirements
♦ Passed high school (or higher).
♦ Fluent in Arabic, (written and reading).
♦ Resident in NES/ Hasakah (Tal Hamis), and able to move between areas and governorates when requested.
♦ At least 6 months’ experience with an NGO and collecting data offline (using paper) or online (using phones or tablets).
♦ Experience with Kobo/online data collection platforms.
♦ Good knowledge of regions in Northeast Syria with strong KI network
♦ Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
♦ Strong communication skills
DESIRABLE SKILLS
♦ Familiar with using GPS, Excel and/or Word
♦ Basic English
Responsibilities
Data Collection:
♦ To collect data and information in the field through interviews, focus group discussions, field visits and surveys;
♦ To ensure transparent, accurate and timely collection of quantitative and qualitative data and information;
♦ To ensure a regular, effective and comprehensive communication with supervisors
♦ To develop and maintain a strong network of Key informants.
♦ To be up-to-date on the humanitarian and general situation in coverage areas, and to proactively notify assistants/officers of notable events or context shifts.
♦ Any task request by supervisors.
Reporting:
♦ Reporting directly to Assistants whenever requested.
