Requirements

♦ University or Institute degree or diploma in a relevant field (this could include social sciences, business administration, and others)

♦ At least six-months experience in registration and distribution activities.

♦ Experience in working or volunteering with a humanitarian organization.

♦ Previous experience in data collection and monitoring

♦ Good knowledge of Arabic (reading and writing) and Kurdish (speaking)

♦ Expertise in one or more of the following program areas: water, sanitation and hygiene; livelihoods; distribution of non-food items and cash

♦ Precedent work experience is preferred in rigid and repetitive contexts

♦ Background in community work is preferred.

♦ Good communication skills and dealing with others

♦ Good organizational and teamwork skills

♦ Good cultural awareness

♦ Easy to handle, reliable, aware of the principle of confidentiality at work

♦ Ability to work independently whenever necessary

Responsibilities

♦ Under the supervision of Emergency filed focal point, assist, monitor and supervise all emergency operation related activities implemented in the field.

♦ Prepare accurate planning for water trucking and follow up the deliveries of services through different monitoring activities and prepare detailed reports on the provided service.

♦ Responsible for chlorine usage (when required) and monitoring the quantities and stock releases.

♦ Collect, analyze and interpret all technical data concerning water trucking in the field to prepare weekly logbooks as required by the supervisor/ line manager.

♦ Conduct surveys and assessments of operations to provide reports based on existing tools.

♦ Assist with any tasks needed to conduct a pre and post rapid knowledge, attitude and practice (KAP) survey, PDMs, WASH and Emergency assessments.

♦ Monitor water quality through conducting regular tests of deliverables.

♦ Identification of non-food hygiene-related needs.

♦ Support Non-Food Items distributions and maintain distribution lists.

♦ Prepare and submit daily, weekly and monthly reports on the activity to the supervisor (Emergency filed focal point).

♦ Taking into account the diversity of society and the necessity of the principle of equality between men and women and the implementation of activities in a way that reflects the needs of groups and individuals such as women, elderly, children and the disabled.
