Responsibilities
General role description:
The Logistics Officer is responsible for coordinating, consolidating, and ensuring smooth implementation of and adherence to logistic and procurement procedures, Fleet management warehouse activities and provides logistical support to AFH’s Projects in NES.
The Logistics Officer is in charge of building the capacity of the local logistics support team in the base, depending on the size and structure of the mission.
Duties & Responsibilities
Management of Premises & Procurement
♦ Manage Logistics Team and preparing (CBA template, drivers contracts and timesheets, supplier list, GRN/SAF) for all projects of AFH in Al-Raqqa
♦ Manage assets and Hand over properly recorded whether for AFH projects or other Donors and archive the docs completely and properly.
♦ Coordination with the finance team in filed and upload all Logs docs to Iraq team
♦ Follow up with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and effective supply and delivery of goods, services and works.
♦ Make sure that all utilities are functional and available (Electricity, Water, Gas, phone, internet and all premises equipped with first aid kit and fire extinguisher etc.) in AFH Al-Raqqa Offices.
♦ Undertake the maintenance needed for (offices, Guesthouses, warehouse)
♦ Any other duties assigned by the Line Manager.
Fleet Management
♦ Manage and Organize the daily and weekly movement planning in NES.
♦ Supervise the drivers, and report any problem in Al-Raqqa.
♦ Manage the administrative issues for the fleet (rental contracts and other documents).
♦ Make sure that all safety / security rules implemented and followed (First Aid Kit, vehicles in good condition)
♦ ensure the procedures of the fleet are going properly and follow the policy.
♦ Make sure that all the driver using Logbooks properly in NES.
