Education:
♦ A bachelor’s degree is preferred. A qualification in computer science, Information System, statistical
systems, engineering, or related qualifications is an advantage.
Work Experience
♦ At least 2 years experiences with field data collection activities.
♦ Experiences with NGO
Knowledge and Skills
♦ Good command of both English and Arabic languages.
♦ Ability to use mobile data collection tools such as Kobo Toolbox or Device Magic or Fulcrum
♦ Good command of MS Word and MS Excel
♦ Good reporting writing skills
♦ Basic programming skills
♦ Good interpersonal skills
♦ Experience with community participatory techniques
Responsibilities
♦ Assist in routine data collection and entry for various interventions implemented in the field and ensure
that complete, accurate, clean and consistent data is shared with the M&E Officer for data analysis and
action planning;
♦ Ensure proper filing of M&E documents including questionnaires, monitoring reports, datasets among
others;
♦ Handle and work with GBV CM and GBV protection services in addition to conducting protection
assessments where no male staff can be involved due to sensitive data as the targeted audience are
women and girls.
♦ Participate in regular data verification and audit exercises to assess the quality of data reported and
address any anomalies identified;
♦ Submit to the M&E Officer weekly and monthly updates on M& E activities conducted in the field;
♦ With support from the MERL and Database Officers, participate in capacity building and mentorship
activities for field staff in data collection and cleaning;
♦ Assist during survey planning and implementation especially preparing logistics needed, participating in
data collection and cleaning.
♦ Foster good relationships and team spirit with program and operations staff in the field;
♦ Perform any other M&E tasks assigned by the MERL Officer and / or his/her supervisor.
