Description of the Role:

The Pediatrician (Resident) will be primarily responsible for providing curative and preventive services to the patients in the assigned health facilities. This position reports to the Hospital Director.

Responsibilities:

♦ Diagnosis and treatment of pediatric patients and their follow-up.
♦ Supervise the filling of pediatric patient’s data.
♦ Follow the treatment protocols and WHO guidelines.
♦ Treatment of emergency cases (burns, bruises, and poisoning).
♦ Report to the hospital director to contact EWARN when there is an epidemiological indication, making sure that all relevant information regarding the case, contact information, and address is accurately recorded for the suspected case.
♦ Follow-up of admitted pediatric patients and screening of newborns.
♦ Responsible for the examination of all patients from the age of 0 to 14 years according to the approved protocol.
♦ Responsible for the comprehensive immunization program (if any)
♦ Responsible for the child care program
♦ Responsible for the safety of medical devices and tools in the clinic.
