Responsibilities

The M&E Assistant will serve in (Contributing to Social Cohesion and Inclusive Development in North East Syria) project. The primary responsibility of this position is to provide support to the program team in data collection, management and analysis according to the M&E plans, and supporting the MEAL Officer in documentation of key milestones.

Key Responsibilities Include:

♦ Work within the project work plan in coordination with the direct supervisor.

♦ Closely coordinate and cooperate with the project staff.

♦ Conducting quantitative and qualitative field monitoring and verifying the implementation of project activities.

♦ Preparing reports according to the project plan and the M&E plan.

♦ Participate in developing project monitoring plans as required.

♦ Follow up the collection of data related to the implementation of project activities by documenting and archiving them through the approved monitoring forms.

♦ Follow up on closing recommendations resulting from monitoring reports.

♦ Follow up on the project Indicators Tracking Matrix.

♦ Documenting and archiving both paper and electronic documents of all project activities.

♦ Adhere to all Shar area of operations and transport/ logistics information related to programming.

♦ Work with the project staff to ensure program implementation is on time and target, using effective M&E systems to reach desired impacts.

♦ Other duties as assigned by the supervisors.
