Requirements

Generic professional competencies:

1-2  years’ working experience in a humanitarian/recovery context or equivalent

Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis Experience with data management techniques

Bachelor degree or diploma in a related field

Understanding of key privacy and information management ethical concerns and ability to manage information management activities within ethical guidelines

 Experience of working in complex and volatile contexts

Fluency in Arabic, both written and verbal
English Knowledge, both written and verbal, is an asset
 

Context/specific skills, knowledge and experience:

Knowledge of the context in Syria;

Experience with remotely managed programming.

Responsibilities

 Project Cycle Management: As delegated by line-manager, assist in the process of the formulation and the implementation of the M&E Matrix and plans to address indicator reporting requirements;

Technical Quality. Responsible for supporting technical quality in accordance with the agreed ORG Syria Response Office and CC Strategies, tools and guidelines. This includes – but not limited to - Support to design of data capture processes, analysis of information and data to address indicator reporting requirements; maintain CC files, data bases, and other archives documenting project progress;

Project Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E). As delegated by line-manager, support project manager and coordinator in accurate and high-quality Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) of ORG Shelter and WASH or related activities, including information management, support  with data capture, and archiving.

Reporting. As delegated by line manager: support in daily, weekly and monthly reporting
Collaboration. Responsible for maintaining a collaborative working environment with other team members; within the Shelter and WASH project team, within other Core Competencies and with the Support Team.
