Requirements
1. Preparatory certificate, which can read and write well.
2. Previous experience in this sector is advantage.
3. Good communications skills.
4. Good interpersonal, communication skills required, including patience, diplomacy,
willingness to listen and respect for colleagues and partners.
5. time management skills and resourcefulness with strong attention to detail.
6. good level of creativity and coordination.
7. Fluency in Kurdish and Arabic.
Responsibilities
1. Keeping the GH clean in accordance with agreed cleaning schedules, policies procedures, standards,
and strategies.
2. Ensuring that stores and supplies are maintained at agreed levels and used economically.
3. Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
4. Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
5. Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
6. Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning duties.
7. Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
8. Service and clean restrooms or supply soap.
9. Gather and empty trash.
10. The GH cleaner is responsible for cleanliness and ensuring hygienic cleaning methods in the GH
according to the following Guidelines and rules:
• To wear a clean and adapted uniform.
• To perform hygiene of the hands (washing or friction hydro-alcoholic) in beginning and end of the
operations of cleaning, and each time necessary.
• To wear gloves at the time of the cleaning actions.
11. To respect a logical order in the course of cleaning:
• To start with the least contaminated areas.
• To go from clean towards the dirty one, and from top to down.
• To clean always before disinfecting.
12. To never mix different cleaning products together.
13. To clean and to disinfect the material after use at the end of the day.
14. To use good dust removal techniques like wet wiping of surfaces and wet sweeping.
15. Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaning sponges, or squeegees.
16. Assist in the supervision and training of junior staff.
17. Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
