Detailed Responsibilities

1. Safe driving of vehicle
   1. Drive the vehicle by considering the organization’s policies procedure and local traffic rules to ensure the safety of passenger, pedestrian and vehicle
   2. Ensure that passenger also follow the rules (fastening seat belt etc.)
   3. Follow the speed limits while driving the vehicle
   4. Follow all instructions related to safety & security

2. Ensure that vehicle is maintained and safe to use
   1. Check the vehicle on daily basis (fuel level, filters, radiator, lubricants level)
   2. Report any need of repair / maintenance to supervisor
   3. Conduct small repair when needed (fastening of nut bolts etc.)
   4. Inform supervisor when maintenance (service) of vehicle due
   5. Check the vehicle thoroughly before departure to field or long journey
   6. Make sure first aid kits available / updated
   7. Make sure communication tools (phone) available
   8. Make sure fire extinguisher installed and not expired
   1. For long trips make sure that you carry the recovery tools / accessories along tool box and basic spare parts

3. Other / Record keeping
   1. Fill the log book after each trip
   2. Arrange the fuelling of vehicle and keep the record
   3. Fill the weekly vehicle check list
   4. Make sure vehicle has copy of registration documents and you have valid driving licence all the time

General Responsibilities:

• Work within the framework of the organization’s core values
• Act as an ambassador for the organization
• Contribute to other fundraising initiatives where appropriate.
• Participate in meetings where relevant.
• Work in compliance with the organization’s’s Policies, including but not limited to, Equal Opportunities, Code of Conduct and Dignity at Work Policies.
• Undertake and apply learning from appropriate training and development programmes.
• Undertake any other duties as may be required.
