Requirements

Type of professional experience requested:

– Bachelor’s degree: IT / Computer science / MIS / CIS / computer engineer / Software engineering / business administration / communication engineering / Statics.

- Minimum 1 years’ experience in same position –        

- Experience of working in INGO / WASH-Shelter departments.

–  ACTED experience a plus but not mandatory.

Technical Recruitment criteria: –        

Team management –         Strong interpersonal and communication skills –         Good organizational skills –         Good report writing skills –         Good analytical skills –         Flexibility – dynamism – pro-activeness –         Problem solving skills, and creative and innovative thinking –         Knowledge in using KOBO, ODK, etc. –         Experience in WASH programs.

Language + level: English (good) and Arabic (excellent) required.

Responsibilities

Check the quality of data to be entered and report any problems encountered. –         Evaluate the time required to process data and feedback on progress in processing. –         Enter data into the specialized software using consistent formatting. –         Check data entered. –         Detect missing or redundant data and propose possible improvements. –         Assist the Data base senior officer with database quality control and inform him/her of any technical problems. –         Ensure that all WASH data and supporting documents are complying with ACTED policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and guidelines. –         File questionnaires and IT data in an organized fashion that is accessible to all (clear file names, well organised files etc.). –         Perform daily back-up of data entered on an external storage. –         Sort and cross-check data, and documents. –         Create tables of statistics. –         Draft reports of results based on data entered. –         Perform any other activities requested.
