Needs assessments in camps, water stations and other wash related facilities

Raise the needs assessments and site assessments after discussion with the WASH assistants for final review, like latrines and water distribution points needed in camps, water stations …rehabilitation needs, water and sewage networks assessments, camps assessments, etc

Under the management of the WASH manager, the WASH officer will manage the contracts of the WASH activities in Raqqa, and report the progress, challenges, and any other issues .related

Visit communities (formal and informal settlements, neighbourhoods, camps, etc…) to conduct .consultations and assessments about WASH needs

Review and raise the detailed and final BOQs for rehabilitations of water stations, water networks, sewage networks, latrines in camps and informal settlements, water distribution .points, and any other work related to WASH

Review and raise the final advertising documents for procurement, like Scope of Works, Drawings using AutoCAD designs, etc…. as per templates

.Review and raise all the supporting documentation for payment to contractors

Review and raise all other documents related to WASH activities, such as official communication letters to local authorities, MOUs, support the assistant in preparation of …contracts, etc

Supervision of rehabilitation works

Managing the monitoring visits by the WASH assistants for the rehabilitations works in water stations, water networks, sewage networks, and WASH facilities in camps. The WASH officer will be responsible to ensure that the quality, quantity, timeframe, deadline, and all issues related to the project are done according to the standard, and he should visit the works in .regular bases to ensure that

Review and raise the monitor sheets as per template in a weekly bases, stating the works done in this week, and the quality the contractor provided including the manpower, brand of the items, challenges facing during the reporting period, and any other issues related to the projects
