REQUIREMENTS

Fluent language skills in English and Arabic, Kurdish is desired
Bachelor or higher degree in Clinical Psychology or Psychology;
Work experience with psychotherapy or counselling (desired);
Basic knowledge of MS Office and data entry;
Ability to travel, including multi-day trips both nationally and internationally;
Ability to work in an interdisciplinary team, and cooperation with other staff members, centers and external partners;
Active interest in promoting human rights and social justice.

Treatment

Anamnesis and disgnostics of patients (including interviews of patiens, interviews of family members and friends, contact to other institutions the patients visited, standard questionnaires/MINI etc)
Provides assessment and recommendations for appropriate treatment
Psychotherapeutic (long-term) treatment, including group and individual therapy, psyvho education, awareness sessions, and MHPSS and PSS groups
Regular follow-up of therapeutic progress, prevention of drop-outs (as well as drop-out follow-up) and correct termination of therapy
Family and couple therapy
Child guidance at schools
Provides referral services when necessary
Case management
Crisis intervention for clients in danger, suicide prevention and safety planning
Regular visits to rural areas or refugee camps (mobile team), womens shelters and/or prisons and juvenile and/or orphanages

Administrative tasks

Regular and completedocumenation of patient data into the patient files and the database
Monthly documenations of all activities in a report using the resp. template
Ensures data entry
Organization of seminars for clients, trainings and group activities for professionals and non-professionals, as well as psycosocial awareness campaigns and interreligious dialogue
Qrites case study for monthly reports
Commits and attends Jiyan Foundations and external trainings as well as events and meetings regarding clinical work wgen necessary
Participants in camp coordination meetings and networking events with other NGOs
Participates in official meetings with guests and donors upon request and when necessary
