Requirements
Education
Essential: Medical Doctor diploma Desirable diploma in Tropical Medicine
Desirable diploma/certificate in women’s health – (SRH/SGBV)
Experience
2 year experience minimum as a Medical Doctor or in clinical work (can be within medical training).
Desirable: experience in tropical medicine, or post-registration experience in Public Health, obs and gynae, pediatrics, A, infectious diseases, HIV/AIDS/STDs, TB, general practice, general medicine or minor surgery.
Desirable: experience with women’s health – (SRH/SGBV)
Desirable: experience with Patient-centered Care
Desirable: experience in Al Hol Camp or similar
Language
Essential: English and Arabic. Desirable: Russian, Turkish

Responsibilities
Accountabilities:
♦ Working place Al-hol Camp (Annex service area, Annex Mobil clininc, Home-based Care/Wound Care, Non-Communicable Diseases, protection area) if needed provide gapfill coverage in PH. 5 of the Main Camp or for other THE ORGANIZATION’s other projects.
♦ Treat chronic diseases with a particular focus on hypertension, cardiovascular disease, chronic respiratory disease (COPD and Asthma), diabetes and thyroid diseases, Out Patient Dept, women’s health (Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH), Sexual and Gender Based Violence (SGBV))
♦ Provide hands on general primary health care consultations, with a focus on younger age group ( <18 years)
♦ Discussing medical cases in all organisational work sites with the direct supervisor and his teammates to ensure knowledge of the general health status or whether there are medical cases that need referral
♦ Adhere to the rules of patient-centered care
♦ Work in a complex and sensitive environment, with daily challenges, requiring an ability to work in difficult situations and good comunication skills
♦ Providing quality medical care to our beneficiaries, working according to the organisational protocols and guidelines.
♦ Participating in trainings arranged within the medical department or others as required Respond to medical emergencies in structured and efficient manner
♦ Participant in evaluations, quality improvement activities, and audit to help support the project to improve the quality of care.
♦ Participate in data collection, analysis and reporting as required.
