Requirements
Job Summary
The Finance Officer will be responsible to maintain accurate records of all financial transactions meeting both financial rules and regulations required by Organization International Headquarters and external donors.
Job Duties:
Assist Senior Finance Officer with reviewing & initiating Hawala payments, and keeping ORGANIZATION officers /managers updated with all Finance modifications/corrections.
Follow up with Pro/Logs and tracking monthly Contract Service payments with Good Received Notes.
Together with all Finance members to Ensure coding and complete, well-organized of all financial documents.
Participate in updating Bank Tracker and Check Log with Hawala payments key information when needed.
Help in preparing Purchase Invoices (Excel), send it to the Senior Finance Officer for a final review before posting.
Keep in touch with Hawala office and vendors for a fast and smooth well-received transfers processes.
Assist Senior Finance Officer with preparing Hawala check Requests and circulating for approvals.
Collaborate with fellow finance staff in scanning all finance, contracts, agreements and payroll documents in a timely manner and upload them into Docsvault.
Cash count physically with Reconciling all balances in the ledger on a daily basis against paid payments.
Inform Senior Finance Officer in Case of any cash discrepancy or outstanding payment.
Facilitate currency exchange, initiate and receive USD through Hawala in the absence of the Senior Finance officer.
Help with preparing and disbursing payroll to SP staff, drivers, and daily laborers in a timely manner.
Participate with weekly/monthly cash count and Surprise CC.
Collaborate with the Finance Assistant with his/her daily tasks and perform the finance assistant’s tasks in case of his/her absence.
Maintain close and cooperative working relationships with fellow Finance staff and the finance manager.
Any other duties as assigned, include but not limited to tasks that are assigned by Senior Finance Officer, Deputy Finance Manager or Finance Manager.
Complete other activities as directed by the Line Manager and perform all other tasks and responsibilities assigned for the benefit of Organization with a generous and serving spirit.

Education / Experience Needed
Diploma in Finance or business administration with one to two years’ experience
LANGUAGE
Arabic and English are required. Kurdish or Assyrian is a plus
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.
