Skills Required

Education / Experience Needed
• University Degree in engineering (civil, or other applicable field) 
• At least two years of relevant WASH work experience (water wells)
• Experience in engineering works (construction, water networks, well drilling, water quality control)
• Two years of working in community engagement and liaising with governing officials (not required but recommended)
• Good computer skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, & Excel are required
• Work experience with INGO’s is preferred but not required
LANGUAGE  
• Arabic/Kurdish 
• English is required 

REASONING ABILITY 
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to travel to villages, standing for long hours while attending to program projects, often in hot temperature conditions. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk and run; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50kgs.

o The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be exposed to loud noises.
