Requirements
Compulsory:
• Relevant experience
• Degree/diploma in Computer, Data Collection, counselling, social work, human rights, psychology or related area (desired)
• Basic computer skills
• Communication skills in local languages (Arabic, Kurdish) are essential.
• Understand the humanitarian mission of the organization.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including patience, diplomacy, willingness to listen and respect for colleagues.
• Must be capable of working both individually and as part of a team.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment.
• Must be flexible, willing to perform other duties and work irregular hours.
• Experience in working with young adults and women
• One year of experience with humanitarian organizations, governmental or non-governmental.
Desirable:
• Knowledge of English language.
• Experience working in GBV\Protection sectors
Responsibilities
• Operate WGSS equipment such as copiers, and phone systems, and use computers for
spreadsheet, word processing, database management, and other applications.
• Answer telephones and give information to callers, take messages, or transfer calls to
appropriate individuals.
• Greet visitors or callers and handle their inquiries or direct them to the appropriate persons according to their needs.
• Set up and maintain paper and electronic filing systems for records, correspondence, and
other material.
• Locate and attach appropriate files to incoming correspondence requiring replies.
• Complete forms in accordance with procedures.
• Review work done by others to check for correct spelling and grammar, ensure that format policies are followed, and recommend revisions.
• never disclose any information related to the patient unless authorized by him/her.
• Any other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.
• Ensure the reception area remains accessible.
• Ensure the relevant data is collected e.g., attendance sheets.
• 12. Discretion and uphold of the principle of confidentiality regarding personal and sensitive information.
