Requirements
Compulsory:
♦ Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field, or at least one year of relevant work experience in HR or administrative roles.
♦ Proficient in MS Office applications and HR software systems.
♦ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal, in English.
♦ Knowledge of HR best practices, policies, and regulations, and ability to apply them in a diverse and multicultural environment.
♦ Attention to detail, accuracy, and confidentiality.
♦ Ability to travel within NES when required.
Desirable:
♦ Work experience with international humanitarian organizations
Responsibilities
♦ As the focal point of Archiving among NES offices, the HR Assistant will be responsible for maintaining and updating HR records, databases, and files in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
♦ Follow up on the onboarding process with newcomers and supervisors and ensure that they are familiar with and sign all HR policies and procedures.
♦ Support the HR Officer-Recruitment focal point in all steps of Recruitment, such as (Long listing, participating in the interviews of temporary workers and incentive staff, assisting in scheduling interviews/tests with candidates, conduct background checks and verify the credentials of potential hires, Archive all related documents)
♦ Assist in the preparation and dissemination of HR documents, forms, letters, and other correspondence.
♦ Provide administrative support in staff timesheets, leave balance, and performance management, such as guiding staff and following up.
♦ Coordinate and facilitate HR events, meetings, workshops, and trainings, and assist in the logistics and arrangements.
♦ Respond to HR-related queries and requests from staff, and provide information and guidance as needed.
♦ Perform any other duties as assigned by the Head of HR or supervisor.
