Requirements
♦ Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or other educational background combined with relevant professional experience will be desirable.
♦ Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in working with NGO or INGO.
♦ Proficiency in Microsoft Office package, especially Excel and Word Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
♦ Ability to work under pressure and independently.
♦ Consistently approach work with energy and a positive, constructive attitude Demonstrates ability to identify problems.
♦ Makes recommendations related to work procedures and implementation of management systems.
♦ Languages: Local Language and good command of English & Arabic speaking and writing.
Responsibilities
♦ Oversight of compliance procedures and accountability ensure proper compliance principles are followed regarding daily finance tasks related to Hasake office.
♦ Responsible for managing the cash in the Hasake office and delivering salary payments to national staff and indirect staff and suppliers.
♦ Record all transactions and update the cashbook & cash count daily and assist the finance office in recording them into the NetSuite system.
♦ Prepare weekly payment plan and maintain advances tracker and liquidation of advances on time.
♦ Scan finance documents on a daily basis and ensure all scanned documents are named appropriately and archived on the Box for easy access and keep a backup for all scans against any accidental loss upload on the Box
♦ Check all financial documents, prepare payment vouchers and get the needed approvals before making the payments.
♦ Checking and monitoring financial, HR & logistical field reviews of our-Supported facilities.
♦ Making a regular weekly visit to assigned facilities, reviewing their latest transactions and preparing monitoring trackers and reports.
♦ Prepare a tracker for partners running costs, consumption reports, and monthly salaries.
♦ Check Facilities cashbook on a weekly basis, cross-check with original invoices, and make physical visits to suppliers for monitoring propose when needed.
♦ Responsible for validating and archiving all incentive employees' files and having a backup for the payments related to our facilities. ♦ Assist the finance officer in reviewing partners' files and any other tasks.
