Requirements

♦ Law, social work, human rights, sociology, psychology or other similar degree/diploma;
♦ 3 years’ relevant experience with NGOs and/or INGOs agencies;
♦ Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Local language;
♦ Good verbal and written communication skills in English desirable;
♦ Excellent in Microsoft Office skills
♦ Excellent organizational and supervision skills;
♦ Excellent problem solving and negotiation skills;
♦  Excellent self-motivation skills;
♦  Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently;
♦  Comfortable working in resource-deprived environment;
♦  Adaptable and capable of working well under pressure;
♦  Ability to work in a team setting, as well as independently without supervision;
♦  A strong propensity for flexibility, teamwork, and creative thinking will be essential to this job.

Responsibilities

♦  Ensure strategic planning for the WGSS to enhance the workflow and improve the services' provision.
♦  Prepare work schedules and plans in coordination with the Protection Coordinator and the protection technical team based in Amman.
♦  Follow up on the implementation of the work plan, ensure all needed supplies and logistics are secured, provide feedback to staff and line managers on the achievement on a weekly
♦ and monthly basis, and share the best practices and lessons learned related to implementing the activities on a monthly basis.
♦  Under the guidance of the Protection Coordinator and close coordination with Amman protection technical team,support the development of Information, Education and Communication (IEC) materials and community mobilization tools to promote participation and engagement of women and girls, boys and men
♦  Supervise daily administrative operations, including vehicles movements and ensure prompt ordering and stocking of WGSS supplies with close coordination with the logistic team and the supervisor
♦  Oversee case management (including follow up on referrals and action plans) and support services provided to clients (awareness sessions, emotional support sessions, counselling and therapy)Conduct regular meeting with the WGSS staff to discuss challenges, suggestion and success stories and sharing the MoM with the line manager.
♦  Develop and maintain effective working relationship with relevant stakeholders including partner agencies, community leaders and service providers;
♦  Represent us in sector relevant coordination meeting taking place in the AoR based on requests from the Protection Coordinator
♦  Under the supervision of the Protection Coordinator, and in coordination with Security team maintain the safety and security of staff through participating in security plans preparation and implementation.
♦  Support the development and assist implementing new activities in Women and Girls Community Centres under supervision the Protection Coordinator and coordination with the technical team.
♦  Coordination with Health, case management and PSS staff to ensure consistency of the programs developed and when applicable implement joint activities and activities between Health and Protection.
♦  Engage with M&E team to develop and implement appropriate M&E plans for protection activities.
♦  Ensure proper documentation and secure storage of any protection data collected (hard and soft copies) including case management, attendance sheets for GBV prevention and PSS sessions; regular coordination with Protection IM officer to ensure quality data management
♦  Conduct recruitment of WGSS staff as needed, and ensure staff capacity development, including on-the-job coaching and mentoring,Ensure the regular collection and analysis of complete and up-to-date gender and protection information needed for effective program/project design and monitoring.
♦  Ensure that all activities are implemented and coordinated based on a “do no harm” approach.
♦  Mainstream protection and gender across all areas of intervention.
