Requirements
♦ Willingness and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people.
♦ University Degree, or alternative 2 years’ experience in logistics if similar qualifications.
♦ Previous NGO experience added advantage.
♦ Good in English language.
♦ Ability to be pay attention to details.
♦ Flexibility to support by field visits.
♦ Very excellent command on excels and word Microsoft operating system.
♦ Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate with project personnel.
♦ Computer literate and strong organizational skills.
Compulsory:
♦ experiences in Asset control, at least one year.
♦ good in computer requirements.
Desirable:
♦ scientific certificate.
Responsibilities
Asset Management:
♦ Ensure compliance with organizational policies, and donor requirements related to asset management.
♦ Properly Record and tag all assets and inventory old and new in line with our policies and procedures at all locations.
♦ Collaborate with procurement teams to update asset registers upon acquisition.
♦ Keep the asset register, asset cards, personal issue forms…and Asset documents up to date with information of where each asset is/who it has been issued to.
♦ Send an updated asset register monthly.
♦ Report if any assets/inventory is broken, lost, or stolen on the Inventory Loss/Theft/Damage report following the applicable asset SOPs and procedures and share it with SCO Manager.
♦ Perform a regular physical asset check with the aid of register and report any discrepancies to the SCO Manager.
♦ Provide support to users regarding asset-related queries and issues.
♦ Address concerns related to asset availability, location, or condition.
♦ Lead and facilitate the physical count for end of the year and at the end of project or when needed, in collaboration with the assigned committees for all locations in NES.
♦ Schedule and coordinate routine maintenance activities for assets to ensure optimal functionality in collaboration with the other stakeholders such as IT officer of handyman.
♦ Coordinate the disposal of obsolete or surplus assets in accordance with our disposal policies and regulations.
♦ Ensure proper documentation and approval processes for asset disposal.
♦ Create and maintain detailed records for each asset, including purchase details, maintenance history, and disposal information.
♦ Ensure that all asset-related documentation is organized and easily accessible.
♦ He/she will follow up Asset requirements in coordination with Log admin assistant in Deir Al Zour.
♦ Any other tasks required by SCO Manager.
Other Tasks:
♦ Supervise the daily work of Handyman and Cleaner in Derek Office and report any issue to the SCO Manager.
♦ Support the Sr procurement officer in Hasaka in relation to Derek office Regarding RFQs, GRN… if needed.
♦ follow up the required services, materials and maintenance for Derek Office and Guest house and report any needs or issues to the SCO Manager.
♦ Follow up the daily Movement Plan for Derek Office and coordinate with the SCO team in Hasaka and Dez regarding the weekly movement plan.
♦ Follow up and support other staff to prepare and consolidate the fleet, generators, and office supplies reports.
Monitor the cars and generator(s) in Derek in collaboration with the drivers and handyman and report any issue to the SCO Manager.
