Requirements

♦ The role will involve understanding RI security policies and standards. You will also monitor RI facilities to ensure that potential threats to operations are identified and reported in a timely manner. The position will be responsible of keeping RI facility, staff and properties are safe. Coordinate with the team to make sure that the guarding notes are passed to the guards and that all threats and concerns are reported to the supervisor.


♦ Skills, knowledge and expertise required for the role.
♦ Ability to read and write
♦ Has previews experience as a guard.
♦ Prior experience with international NGOs is preferred
♦ Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

♦ Essential Duties and Responsibilities
♦ Guarding the door, assets and buildings and staying alert.
♦ Controlling access to buildings by requesting the IDs that authorize entry in addition to recording visitors' data.
♦ Continuously monitoring CCTV system and staying alert for any emergency.
♦ Conducting regular and irregular inspection tours, especially after working hours, and closing all doors, windows and power sources.
♦ Inspecting water tanks and ensuring that there is a sufficient quantity at all times and reporting in case of a shortage.

♦ Turning on/off the generator when needed and maintaining it according to the rules, including filling fuel, changing oil, and cleaning\replacing filters.
♦ Preventing intruders and thieves from vandalizing the organization's property and assets.
♦ Reporting any danger to the direct manager that may pose a threat to assets and individuals.
♦  Performing any other tasks that do not affect the workflow.
