Requirements
Compulsory:
University Degree in a related field such as Business Administration, Business Management or a scientific specialization.
Willingness and ability to work effectively with a wide variety of people
Previous NGO experience added advantage.
Good in the English language besides Arabic.
Ability to pay attention to details.
Very excellent command of Excel and Word Microsoft operating system.
Ability to work as part of a team and coordinate with project personnel.
Computer literate and strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
Position Summary
The Procurement Temporary Worker is responsible for assisting the Procurement responsibilities.
Responsibilities
♦ Daily coordination of our procurement activities.
♦ Collecting quotations from the Market.
♦ Ensuring that all procurement documents (Quotes, GRN, PO, CSI…etc) are prepared well under procurement officer Supervision.
♦ Has a full understanding of our procurement policies and formats.
♦ Enforce proper use of procurement ceilings and approval procedures.
♦ Ensure that our procurement activities are legal and moral.
♦ Doing market assessment.
♦ Oversee the gathering of quotations and bids from the market for PRs as per our standards and formats.
♦ Interact with contractors, in coordination with the Program & Log assistant.
♦ Coordinate with the Finance department closely regarding all payments and related documents.
♦ Coordinate with the Warehouse team on delivery of items including completion of Goods Received Notes, storage of items, and transfer of items to field sites.
♦ Enforce proper use of procurement ceilings and approval procedures.
♦ Oversee the gathering of quotations and bids from the market for PRs as per our standards and formats.
♦ Support the procurement officer in Deir Ezzor.
♦ Other duties relevant to operational activities assigned by the procurement Officer or Senior Procurement Officer.
